Every now and then, I get the urge to try and finish my claim here. Only problem is, I've gotten more purist, and keep trying to do honest-to-gosh drabbles.

Summary: Lulu being frustrated over things she can't change.
A quiet evening. Firelight was barely adequate for mending, but Lulu made do. Quietly she picked off the fraying lace of her sleeve -- more unraveled each day -- and sewed down the ends.
Auron stood opposite, facing outward. She watched the campfire's flicker edging his greatcoat like blood.
Anything, she thought fiercely. I would give anything to heal this one wrong. Damn Yunalesca. She gasped as the needle stabbed her wrist.
"Oh, Lulu, let me do that," Rikku said, scooting over.
Auron swung around. "Something?"
"No. It's nothing."
His glower softened. With a subtle nod, he returned to guarding the living.
