Summary: What do Al Bheds believe in? Wakka approached Rikku for answers.
Recognizing that accent that was unique to him and him only, Rikku put on her brightest smile and turned to greet her visitor.
"What is it? Wakka?"
When he started rubbing his neck and looked down onto the floor instead of into her eyes, she knew it was a habit of his that signified he had something on his mind. She hopped two steps closer and looked up to him with her cutest expression, and asked again.
"Do Al Bheds have faith?"
Rikku tilted her head, mouth opened and eyes widened, "huh?"
"Ya know... like we believed in Yevon."
"Why do you ask?"
Wakka rubbed his neck and fiddled with the back of his head, looking uneasy and probably finding ways to change the topic. She stepped back from him and crossed her arms in front of herself, trying her best to imitate Lulu's fiery look when he irritated her. It was obviously a poor attempt when he couldn't help but laughed at her. She pouted and gave him a few hard knocks on his chest before both of them fell onto the floor laughing.
He had never expected the perky thief to be an excellent wrestler when she managed to pin him onto the ground, with herself sitting on top of his stomach and grinning down proudly at him. He began to feel nervous once again when he realized their awkward position and tried to push her off of him. Before his hands could grab onto her, she rested both arms onto his chest, with her face just inches away from his.
"So tell me, why do you want to know if we Al Bheds have faith?"
"Erm... I'm just curious ya?"
"Well... we do."
"What do you believe in?"
Rikku's grin grew wider and the mischevious look in her green spiral eyes grew. She lowered her head and brushed her lips across Wakka's lightly. Her tiny hands moved around his chest and then towards his huge arms, gently massaging his hard muscles. He blushed furiously, trying to wriggle himself out of the situation yet he found his strength failed him. He was enjoying her caress too much but he just couldn't admit it.
She moved to his ears and bit it lightly while whispering her answer to him.
"We believe in ourselves. Especially when it comes to claiming someone we really desire."
