Theme + Number: Fumbling/clumsy 34
Summary: Overestimating one's endurance. (This one's cheesy, sorry.)
Lulu glared at her walking companion as the canyon narrowed. Oblivious, he kept ambling alongside. Suddenly the mage stumbled, and he reached out reflexively to steady her.
"You okay?" he asked gently.
"Fine. Is there a reason you're shadowing me?"
"Sorry, Lu." Wakka backed away hurriedly. "You seemed kinda... beat."
"I didn't sleep much."
"That's the third time after stayin' at them damn Al Bhed Inns. They givin' you trouble, Lu?"
"No." The word dropped like a portcullis.
After Wakka had retreated, Auron turned, smirked, and shook his head.
"Oh, all right," she muttered. "We'll keep a curfew next time."
